I got the call a day or two before that mom and Dad were planning an induction for that Tuesday (an absolutely gorgeous summer day I might add). Being over three hours away from where Sabra was delivering, I knew timing would be everything, so once they were all hooked up and progression began, I hopped in my car and road tripped my way up to them.

I arrived and the sun was shining so perfectly, there was the tiniest breeze, and the birds were chirping. It really was the perfect day to be born. Mom was so brave and strong and when I walked into the room she was finally able to relax after getting her epidural. Baby Kinley was born just about an hour later and the love in that delivery room was immediately palpable. She is so blessed to have been born to such loving parents who are amazingly caring and beautiful people.

Im so grateful that I was able to be there to capture a day that changed this little family’s lives forever.
