This newborn session is extra special and gives me some extra little warm fuzzies. A little over seven years ago I had a wedding consultation (back when I shot weddings) in a little Cafe with the sweetest girl who was so excited to marry her sweetheart. Fast forward, and I was the only witness at their tiny ceremony down on the Fayetteville Square. Then, I followed them out to Atlanta to photograph their huge wedding celebration, surrounded by their family and closest friends. A few years later, I was lucky enough to be able to fly our to their new home in North Carolina to photograph every perfect little detail of their first daughter, Zuri (my BFF). And just a couple months ago, we continued their amazing love story with the story of their newest little love, Robert Oliver III (but you can call him Trey).
Robert II (Trey’s dad) jokes that every time Miss Erica comes around it means something big has happened in their lives, and I think that is the best way to have it! It has been an absolute joy being able to be there every step of the way with this beautiful family and I have loved even more, becoming such great friends. It’s like catching up with my long lost family whenever we get together, I just love them so much!
Allow me to introduce Amy and Robert’s newest little bundle of joy, Trey and his big sister, Zuri.
