Pregnancy is such an amazing time in a woman’s life. She is creating and sustaining life. And it is absolutely beautiful. Whether an easy pregnancy or one with more challenges, there is nothing like being able to carry a child within your womb, feel her move, and really know her before you’ve ever met her.

I met Carlos and Linda in their home and fell in love with their family of two (soon to be three). We talked about their sweet baby girl who would be named after her great grandmother and their plans for their sweet Adaline as they got closer to welcoming her to this world. I feel so blessed to have been invited to be a part of those plans and photograph their maternity session, her birth story and also her newborn session.

Here is a peek at some of my favorites from their maternity session, in the most gorgeous field, with the most perfect light, and the most wonderful soon-to-be mom & dad. If they only knew then how much their lives were about to change.
