Lillian came to my Bentonville photography studio for a Petite Newborn Session when she was about two weeks old. Her mom had reached out to me to schedule her session after baby girl was already born and luckily I was able to get her in! I recommend booking your newborn session at least a few months out, or during your second trimester, just to be sure I am able to reserve a newborn session for your family. I do tend to book out far in advance, but occasionally I can still accommodate a last-minute inquiry, so don’t be afraid to reach out even if you think it may be “too late.”
Even though I had an hour with miss Lillian, I felt like I could have posed her all day. I’m pretty sure I even joked with her mom that she was welcome to stay all day. She was an amazing little sleeper and loved my cozy studio and all of my soothing skills. She fell perfectly into every position, just like she was right back in the womb again. One of the things I love most about a majority of the poses I do in my newborn sessions is they are so similar to either the positions they were in in the womb, or as if that are lying on their mother’s chest now. Just so tiny and curly and so squishy.
Meet my sweet little friend, Lillian.
